In the Group Policy Editor snap-in, if you follow these steps
- Expand User Configuration, and then expand Administrative Templates.
- Click System, and then double-click Run only allowed Windows applications (in the right pane).
- On the Setting tab click Enabled, and then click Show.
- Enter a blank line under List of allowed applications, and then click OK (note that this step would typically be performed accidentally).
the list is unexpectedly cleared of all applications.
