You have a Microsoft Office Excel pivot table on a computer
that is running Microsoft SQL Server 2005. The pivot table data source is a SQL
Server 2005 Analysis Services (SSAS 2005) cube. When you perform a grouping
members operation on this pivot table, you may experience one or more of the
following problems:
- Display folders that are defined for measures in the cube
disappear from the field list of the pivot table.
- Dimensions that are marked as Visible in the cube disappear from the field list of the pivot
table.
- Some dimensions and attributes that should be visible in
the cube are not visible.
- Dimensions that are marked as Hidden appear in the field list of the pivot table after the grouping
operation is complete.
Note These problems also occur in SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services (SSAS 2008).
