After the installation of security update 974455 or 976325, Internet Explorer 6 may stop responding (hang) when accessing Web sites that provide compressed content
When you access compressed content by using Windows Internet Explorer 6, the browser window stops responding (hangs).
This issue occurs if the following conditions are true:
- Security update 974455 (MS09-054) or security update 976325 (MS09-072) for Windows Internet Explorer is installed on the computer.
- HTTP 1.1 is enabled on the computer.
