On a computer that is running Microsoft Commerce Server 2007
Service Pack 2 (SP2) or Microsoft Commerce Server 2009, you try to import
product catalog data into a data warehouse. To do this, you use the Data
Warehouse Import Wizard, or you run the Product Catalog Import Data
Transformation Services (DTS) task. In this situation, the
product catalog data is
not imported.
Additionally, you receive the
following error message:
The task reported failure on execution.
This problem occurs because of an error in the Cdtstasks.dll
file. Specifically, this error occurs under the
following circumstances:
- The
DTS task reads
the catalog
hierarchy
from the product
catalog
database.
- The DTS task tries to transfer the data into the
CatHierarchy table that is in the data warehouse.
