SYMPTOMS
When you use the Microsoft Application Center Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in to access Microsoft Application Center 2000 cluster information, you are prompted to provide your credentials. This issue occurs even though you are logged on to the computer by using an account that has administrative credentials.

CAUSE
This issue occurs if the cluster controller and the member servers in the cluster are not added to the Local Intranet zone in Windows Internet Explorer.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
| 1. | In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu, and then click the Security tab. |
| 2. | Click Local intranet, click Sites, and then click Advanced in the Local intranet dialog box. |
| 3. | In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type the name of the cluster controller, and then click Add.
Note Use the following format to add the cluster controller to the list: http://servername |
| 4. | Repeat step 3 for each member server in the cluster. |
| 5. | Click Close, and then click OK two times. |
