SYMPTOMS
When you print an invoice, a sales order or a quote by using a basic template in Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2008 and Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2008, the e-mail address appears to be truncated.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if you installed Service Pack 1 for Accounting Express 2008 or for Accounting Professional 2008.
RESOLUTION
To resolve the problem, follow these steps:
- Start Accounting Express 2008 or Accounting Professional 2008.
- On the Company menu, click Manage Word Templates.
- Click to select a template type, click to select a template, and then click Modify.
- Use the appropriate method to enter the company information in the Word template:
- Manually type company information.
- Click the XML tags on the right side of the Word document to insert company information under the Company heading. The company information contains company name, company address, company phone, company fax and company e-mail.
- Click the Office button, click Save, and then close the Word document.
- Open the document that you want to print in Accounting Express 2008 or Accounting Professional 2008.
- On the File menu, click Print.
- Click Word template, and then click Templates.
- Select the Word template that you saved in step 5, and then click Select.
- Click OK.
