SYMPTOMS
When you try to use a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services-compatible editor, such as SharePoint Designer, to create an .aspx Web page in a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Web application, you receive the following error message:
Error: Access denied.
Additionally, the error message asks you to use a different user name and password to log on to the Web application. This behavior occurs even though you have
Contributor permissions for the Web application.

| 2. | Click Site Actions, point to Site Settings, and then click Modify All Site Settings. |
| 3. | Under Galleries, click Master Page and Page Layout Gallery. |
| 4. | Click Settings, and then click Document Library Settings. |
| 5. | Under Permissions and Management, click Permissions for this document library. |
| 6. | Click New, and then type your user name in the Users/Groups box. |
| 7. | Click Give users permission directly, click to select the Design check box, and then click OK. |

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
