RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps.

Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. 1.Apply hotfix 953342.

2.Configure the DisableEmbossShadowPictureRecolor registry entry. To do this, follow these steps:
a. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
b. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Common\Draw
c. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
d. Type DisableEmbossShadowPictureRecolor, and then press ENTER.
e. Right-click DisableEmbossShadowPictureRecolor, and then click Modify.
f. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
g. Exit Registry Editor.
