Consider the following scenario. In Microsoft SQL Server 2005, you have a maintenance plan that contains a Back Up Database task. In the Back Up Database task, you select some databases for backup. Then, you install critical update 933508. Next, you open the Back Up Database task. In this scenario, no databases are selected in the Database(s) list in the Back Up Database Task dialog box.

Note Although no databases are selected in the Back Up Database Task dialog box, the Back Up Database task performs the correct backup operation on the databases that you select for backup.

Cumulative update information

The fix for this issue was first released in Cumulative Update 2.
