Rebooting of the server hosting the Microsoft.Clm.Service.exe service.

A timeout error happens, and the service does not autostart.

Cause

In some cases, this can be caused by the Authenticode check against the Certificate Revocation List (CRL) by the .NET Common Language Runtime (CLR).

There is a hotfix available to resolve this issue.

More Information

In addition to the configuration information in the article, if the CRL lookup is happening in the CLM web application, we need to use the following instructions instead.

In the aspnet.config in the ASP .net installation folder, Add the tag:
