MORE INFORMATION

There is no update package that is intended to upgrade the original release of the Access 2007 Runtime to the Access 2007 SP1 Runtime. The updated version of the Access 2007 Runtime is designed only for new installations of the Access 2007 SP1 Runtime. The 2007 Microsoft Office suite SP1, such as the Access 2007 SP1 Runtime update, was not designed to be an update for existing installations of the Access 2007 Runtime.

How to determine which version of the Access 2007 Runtime is installed

To determine which version of the Access 2007 Runtime is installed, follow these steps:

Note Because there are several versions of Windows, the following steps may be different on the computer. If the steps are different, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
1.Click Start, and then click Search.

3.In the All or part of the file name box, type Msaccess.exe, and then click Search.
4.In the list of files, right-click Msaccess.exe, and then click Properties.
