INTRODUCTIONIssues that the hotfix package fixesThis hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article: | • | Consider the following scenario. In Project Server 2007, you submit a timesheet that has administrative work. Then, you view the related summary resource assignment in the Resource Usage view.
In this scenario, the submitted administrative work is not converted to actual work as expected. Instead, the administrative work is displayed as planned work. | | • | A resource cannot change the complete rate of a milestone task from 100 to 0 in Microsoft Office Project 2007. | | • | You preview some projects in the Task Update page in Project 2007. When you do this, some large projects cannot be displayed.
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:| • | The projects have more than 1,700 tasks. | | • | The durations of the projects are longer than four years. |
| | • | When you save or publish a project plan in Project 2007 for the first time, any manual edits to the baseline fields are saved to the Project Server database. Any successive manual edits to the baseline fields are saved to the local cache. These
manual edits cannot be saved or published to the Project Server database. | | • | If some resources are assigned to Summary Tasks in a project, you cannot publish the project to the Project Server 2007 database. | | • | When you publish a project to the Project Server 2007 database, you may receive the following error message: Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_MSP_EpmTask' | | • | Consider the following scenario. A resource adds a new task and then submits actual work in Project 2007. As a program manager, you accept the updates when the project is open. Then, you publish the project. In this scenario, you may receive the following error message: Project Server encountered and problem with this error code: 23000. Note In this error message, "and" is a misspelling for the word "a." |

Hotfix replacement informationThis hotfix does not replace a previously released hotfix. Registry informationTo use one of the hotfixes in this package, you do not have to make any changes to the registry. File informationThis hotfix may not contain all the files that you must have to fully update a product to the latest build. This hotfix contains only the files that you must have to correct the issues that are listed in this article.
The global version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
