Microsoft does not provide support for SQL Server TDS enhancers

INTRODUCTION
There are several products on the market that customers use to improve Microsoft SQL Server Tabular Data Stream (TDS) performance and to provide their organization with improved capabilities. Each of these products targets a specific aspect of the TDS data exchange. Microsoft does not provide support for SQL Server TDS enhancers.
MORE INFORMATION
When you use one of these products, you may experience the following behavior changes:
| • | An increase in result-streaming performance |
| • | An increase in application performance |
You may also experience one or more of the following issues:
| • | The product may limit or prevent TDS network diagnostics.
|
| • | You may experience unexpected connectivity failures.
|
| • | You may experience query time-outs.
|
| • | You may experience orphan sessions.
|
| • | You may experience increased concurrency problems.
|
| • | You may experience increased memory usage in kernel mode and in user mode.
|
| • | You may experience data damage.
|
For example, when you use one of these products together with the TDS, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
SQLState: HYT00, Native Error: 0 [Microsoft][SQL Native Client]Login timeout expired
SQLState: 08001, Native Error: 53 [Microsoft][SQL Native Client]An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections.
Note If you contact Microsoft Customer Support Services to troubleshoot an issue, Microsoft Customer Support Services may ask you to disable or to uninstall these products until the specific cause of the issue is identified. To speed up issue resolution, you may want to disable these products and then reproduce the issue before you contact Microsoft Customer Support Services.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
