This article describes the Microsoft Office Access 2007 issue that is fixed in the Access 2007 hotfix package that is dated March 22, 2008.

Issue that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
When you run a query on all fields in an Access 2007 table, the query may fail.
This issue occurs when the field names use half-width katakana characters and the table name uses full-width katakana characters.
Note This issue does not occur if the table is created in Microsoft Office Access 2003.
