The customer's telephone number does not appear in an invoice when you print the invoice in Office Accounting or in Small Business Accounting 2006

SYMPTOMS
When you use the basic template to print an invoice, the customer's telephone number does not appear in the invoice as expected.
This problem occurs in the following products:
| • | Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2008
|
| • | Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2008
|
| • | Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2007
|
| • | Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007
|
| • | Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006 |
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, print the invoice by using a Microsoft Office Word template. To do this, follow these steps:
| 1. | Start Office Accounting or Office Small Business Accounting 2006.
|
| 2. | On the Company menu, click Manage Word Templates.
|
| 3. | In the Manage Microsoft Office Word Templates dialog box, click Invoice in the Template types area.
|
| 4. | In the Name column, click a template that you want to use, and then click Modify. A template appears. The template contains the customer's telephone number.
|
| 5. | Save the template by using a new name in the default folder for templates.
Note The following folders are the default folders for the templates:
| • | In Windows XP, the default folder is one of the following folders, depending on the product that you run:
| • | If you run Microsoft Office Accounting 2008, the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Templates\Microsoft Office Accounting 2008\Templates folder is the default folder. | | • | If you run Microsoft Office Accounting 2007, the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Templates\Microsoft Office Accounting 2007\Templates folder is the default folder. | | • | If you run Microsoft Small Business Accounting 2006, the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Small Business\Small Business Accounting\Templates folder is the default folder. |
| | • | In Windows Vista, the default folder is one of the following folders, depending on the product that you run:
| • | If you run Microsoft Office Accounting 2008, the C:\Program Data\Microsoft\Windows\Templates\Office Accounting 2008\Templates folder is the default folder. | | • | If you run Microsoft Office Accounting 2007, the C:\Program Data\Microsoft\Windows\Templates\Office Accounting 2007\Templates folder is the default folder. |

| 6. | Open the invoice. |
| 7. | On the File menu, click Print.
|
| 8. | In the Print dialog box, click Word template in the Print options
area. |
| 9. | Click Templates.
|
| 10. | Click the template that you saved in step 5, and then click Select. |
| 11. | Click OK.
