Issue that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

You cannot save a PowerPoint 2002 presentation to a SharePoint Web site when you try for the first time

You create a new PowerPoint 2002 presentation programmatically by making a copy of a template. However, when you try to save the presentation to a SharePoint Web site for the first time, the presentation is not saved. Additionally, you do not receive a warning message when you close the PowerPoint presentation.
