The customized Internet Explorer security zones setting reverts to the default value after you apply any security updates to update the .NET Framework 2.0
SYMPTOMS
After you apply
any security updates to
the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, the customized security zones setting
in Internet Explorer reverts
to the default value.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because of a design issue in
the update installer.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, reset the security zone values
manually, or use a Group Policy setting to reset the security zone values .
