This hotfix rollup package adds the following features:
•You receive an error message when ProClarity KPI Designer of ProClarity Business Logic Server cannot load a key performance indicator (KPI).
•Performance is improved when you expand large hierarchies in ProClarity Desktop Professional 6.2.
•Local cube support is added for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services cubes.
•The UpdateSlicer(lKDimension) method is added to update the contents, the size, and the position of a Slicer depending on the specified dimension.
•A new naming convention lets files in the "Shared Items" folder have very large names.

Issues that this hotfix rollup package fixes

This hotfix rollup package fixes the following issues:
•Some forms are displayed incorrectly when the screen dots per inch (dpi) setting is 120 dpi.
•The Show Only feature in the Perspective View incorrectly handles measures that involve percentages.
•If you paste lots of query text in MDX Editor, the query text may be truncated.
•The scope isolation feature is not supported.
•A null-value defect occurs in ProClarity Desktop Professional 6.2 if you combine the Background dimensions by using a cube that contains cell-level actions.
•You cannot print a chart from the sample applications of the ProClarity Software Development Kit (SDK).
•The Perspective View does not format axes in the correct measure format especially when the measure format involves percentages.
•ProClarity Analytics Server displays incorrect subtotals and incorrect grand totals.
•When you reference a Page-ctrl pointer that is set to NULL, no Page-ctrl object is created for the external print functions, or no Page-ctrl object is specified for the external print functions.
•ProClarity Desktop Professional 6.2 incorrectly displays "Drill to Detail" data if calculated members are present in the view.
•Named sets in the Background are lost when you analyze data in the Decomposition Tree from a Perspective View or from a Performance Map.

Installation information

To apply this hotfix rollup package on a computer that is running ProClarity Professional 6.2, follow these steps:
1.Extract the PRO62Hotfix2212.zip file that is included in this hotfix rollup package.
2.Run the PRO62Hotfix2212.exe file.
To distribute this hotfix rollup package from ProClarity Analytics Server 6.2, follow these steps:
1.On a computer that is running ProClarity Analytics Server 6.2, extract the PRO62Hotfix2212.zip file that is included in this hotfix rollup package.
2.Open the Analytics Server Administration Tool.
3.In the console tree, expand Administration Tool, expand the node that corresponds to the server, right-click Components, and then click New Component.
4.In the Component information file box, specify the PRO62Hotfix2212.xml file that is in the folder where you extracted the PRO62Hotfix2212.zip file in step 1, and then click OK.
Note To let users download ProClarity Desktop Professional 6.2 from ProClarity Analytics Server 6.2, you must configure the security options correctly. For more information, see the ProClarity Analytics Server Administrator's Guide.

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix rollup package, you must be running ProClarity Professional 6.2 on the computer. This hotfix rollup package can update ProClarity Desktop Professional 6.2 or ProClarity Web Professional 6.2.

Restart requirement

You must restart the computer after you apply this hotfix rollup package.
