CAUSEThis problem occurs because the authentication method of the Web server is not configured correctly. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, follow these steps: - Start Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. To do this, click Start, click Run, type inetmgr.exe, and then click OK.
- In IIS Manager, expand the server, expand Web sites, expand Default Web Site, right-click MobileAdmin, and then click Properties.
- In the MobileAdmin Properties dialog box, click the Directory Security tab.
- In the Authentication and access control area, click Edit.
- In the Authentication Methods dialog box, type a slash mark (/) in the Default Domain box, and then click OK.
- In the Secure communications section, click Edit.
- Verify the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) settings, and then click OK.
- In the MobileAdmin Properties dialog box, click OK.
- Right-click Default Web Site, and then click Stop.
- Right-click Default Web Site, and then click Start.
- Click Start, click Run, type iisreset, and then click OK.
- In Windows Internet Explorer, open the following Web page:
https://server_name/mobileadmin - Enter the mobile user alias, and then click Search.
You can see the device in the list. If you still experience the problem, verify the settings in the ExAdmin Properties dialog box. To do this, follow these steps: - Start IIS Manager. To do this, click Start, click Run, type inetmgr.exe, and then click OK.
- In IIS Manager, expand the server, expand Web sites, expand Default Web Site, right-click ExAdmin, and then click Properties.
- In the ExAdmin Properties dialog box, click the Directory Security tab.
- In the Secure communications section, click Edit.
- Click to clear the Require secure channel (SSL) check box.
- Right-click Default Web Site, and then click Stop.
- Right-click Default Web Site, and then click Start.
Note You do not have to restart IIS.
