SYMPTOMS

Invalid posting to Inventory Assets without specifying an item.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the incorrect account is listed as the "Cost of Goods Sold" (COGS) account for an item. Specifically, this problem occurs because an inventory assets account is listed as the COGS account for an item that appears in the
Products and services pane in the invoice.
