This article describes the supported configurations and the
unsupported configurations for the 2007 Microsoft Office system and Windows
Vista, Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1), or Microsoft Windows
XP Service Pack 2 (SP2).

Supported configurations
The following are supported configurations for the 2007 Office
system and Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 SP1, or Windows XP SP2:
- An English (U.S.) version of the 2007 Office system
installed on any language version of Windows
- A non-English version of the 2007 Office system installed
on the same non-English version of Windows
- An English version of the 2007 Office system with a
2007 Office Language Pack installed on an English version of Windows with a
language version of the Windows Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI)
that matches the language version of the 2007 Office Language Pack
- An English version of the 2007 Office system that has a
2007 Office Language Pack installed on an English version of Windows that has
language support enabled for the language version of the 2007 Office system
Language Pack
- An English version of the 2007 Office system that contains
an additional 2007 Office Language Pack installed on a language version of
Windows that matches the language version of the 2007 Office Language
Pack
- A non-English version of the 2007 Office system with a
2007 Office Language Pack installed
on an English version of Windows with a language version of the Windows MUI
that matches the language version of the 2007 Office Language Pack
- A non-English version of the 2007 Office system installed
on an English version of Windows that has language support enabled for the
localized version of the 2007 Office system
- A non-English version of the 2007 Office system together
with a different language version of a 2007 Office Language Pack installed on a
language version of Windows that matches the language version of either the
2007 Office system or the 2007 Office Language Pack
- A non-English version of the 2007 Office system together
with a different language version of a 2007 Office Language Pack installed on
an English version of Windows that has suitable language support for the
language version of the 2007 Office system

Unsupported configurations
The following is an unsupported configuration for the 2007 Office
system and Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 SP1, or Windows XP SP2:
- A non-English version of the 2007 Office system installed
on a non-English version of Windows that does not match the language
version of the 2007 Office system
