A Windows Vista-based computer may become unresponsive after you log on for the first time, or it may stop responding
SYMPTOMS
After you log on to a Windows Vista-based computer for the first time, the computer may become very slow and unresponsive. Or, the computer may stop responding (hang).
CAUSE
The first time that you log on to a Windows Vista-based computer, an issue may occur during the initialization-and-setup process. After you restart the computer, this problem will not occur again.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, restart the computer.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
