No progress occurs in the "Installation Progress" dialog box when you install the 2007 Office system or a stand-alone 2007 Office product

SYMPTOMS
You install the 2007 Microsoft Office system or a stand-alone 2007 Office product to enter the product key. During the installation process, the
Installation Progress dialog box appears. However, no progress occurs in this dialog box. The 2007 Office system or the stand-alone 2007 Office product is not installed successfully.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when an antivirus program is running on the computer during the installation of the 2007 Office system or of the stand-alone 2007 Office product.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, temporarily disable antivirus programs and services when you install the 2007 Office system or the stand-alone 2007 Office product. To do this, follow these steps.
Warning This workaround may make a computer or a network more vulnerable to attack by malicious users or by malicious software such as viruses. We do not recommend this workaround but are providing this information so that you can implement this workaround at your own discretion. Use this workaround at your own risk.
- Temporarily disable any antivirus programs and services that may be running.

- Re-enable any antivirus programs and services that you may have stopped in step 1.

Important An antivirus program helps protect your computer from viruses. When your antivirus program is disabled, you must not download or open files from sources that you do not trust.
