Error message when you try to sign in to the eBay Web site by using Windows Live ID in Accounting Professional 2007 or in Accounting Express 2007: "Access is denied"
SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2007 or in Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007, when you try to sign in to the eBay Web site by using Windows Live ID, you receive the following error message:
This problem occurs if you try to sign in to the Web site to download orders and fees. After you receive this error message, and then you try to view the Manage Online Sales eBay logon credentials, you receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This problem occurs for one of the following reasons:
- The Internet settings have changed.
- A user has used different credentials to sign in to eBay and to log on to Windows Live.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, reset the eBay logon credentials. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open Accounting Professional 2007, or open Accounting Express 2007.
- On the Online Sales menu, click Manage Online Sales.
- Click the eBay account settings tab.
- Under eBay Account Settings, click eBay login info.
- Click the Change hyperlink.
- Reenter the eBay credentials, and then click Sign In Securely.
- Verify that the eBay token status is valid.
- Close the Manage Online Sales window.
- Click Download Orders and Fees.
- Enter the Windows Live ID credentials, and then click Sign In.
