INTRODUCTION
This article describes changes that are made in ProClarity Analytics Platform 6.2 from earlier versions of ProClarity Analytics Platform. ProClarity Analytics Platform 6.2 is a maintenance release that includes changes, new features, and fixes.
ProClarity Analytics Platform includes the following products and tools:

ProClarity Analytics Server
| • | Subtotals and non-empty cross-joins can be used in the same query. Non-empty cross-joins are disabled only on the axis to which subtotals are applied. |
| • | Parameterized Decomposition Tree views automatically display the left node of the lowest level. |
| • | Named sets and calculated members are always displayed in alphabetical order. |
| • | Bar charts that contain all negative numbers display the correct orientation. |
| • | Performance is improved for charts that contain lots of members. |

ProClarity Professional
| • | Performance is improved when you publish a briefing book. Performance is also improved when you are using alternative security. |

| • | Queries that contain subtotals or grand totals provide the correct Action commands for a chart series. (You right-click to access these commands.) These commands include the Drill To Detail command. |

| • | Perspective view labels remain consistent when you switch between a Perspective view and a Decomposition Tree view. |
| • | Third-party add-ins can pass their logon credentials during a print job. |

| • | The French language version displays the Custom Order Members command in the Tools menu. |
| • | Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is not supported. You must migrate existing VBA add-ins and macros to Component Object Model (COM) add-ins. |

ProClarity Business Reporter
| • | You do not have to create a new layout after you add a newly created item to an existing slicer. |
| • | Rows are not duplicated after you update a report. If duplicate rows already exist in a report, install ProClarity Business Reporter 6.2, remove the duplicate rows manually, and then save the report again. |
| • | Slicers that contain a single member revert to a Background selection. |
| • | Reports that contain a slicer are updated correctly. If a slicer is not updated correctly in an existing report, install Business Reporter 6.2, and then save the report again.

| • | Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2000 is supported. |

| • | The default height of reports has changed from 100 inches to 80 inches.
