Consider the following scenario. You use the source control feature in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server Service Pack 1 (SP1). In Solution Explorer, you delete a source file in a project. Before you check in the pending changesets, you rename another source file by using the name of the deleted file. Then, you check in the pending changesets.
In this scenario, you receive a warning message that states that the deleted item already has pending changes. Additionally, the project is out of sync with source control. All the successive synchronization operations fail with different error messages.
