The game screen may jump or shake when you play Combat Flight Simulator 3: Battle for Europe

SYMPTOMS

When you play Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3: Battle for Europe, the game screen may jump or shake. Additionally, the graphics may be poor and the game may suddenly close.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs on computers that have multi-core processors.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, follow these steps:
  1. Start Combat Flight Simulator 3: Battle for Europe.
  2. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL.
  3. On the Processes tab, right-click cfs3.exe, and then click Set Affinity.
  4. Click to clear all the CPU check boxes except for CPU 0.
  5. Click OK, and then close the Windows Task Manager.
  6. Press ALT+TAB to switch to Combat Flight Simulator 3: Battle for Europe.
