Error message when you start or load an application in SoftGrid: "The directory name is invalid. Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx2C-8007010B"
SYMPTOMS
When you start or load an application in SoftGrid, the operation is unsuccessful. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
The SoftGrid Client could not launch application_name.
The directory name is invalid.
Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx2C-8007010B
CAUSE
This issue occurs when the path that is specified in the WORKINGDIR element of the .osd file does not exist.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, edit the .osd file by using a text editor such as Notepad to verify that the path is valid.
