Error message when you try to start the SoftGrid Client "Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx2C-80070015"
SYMPTOMS
When you try to start Microsoft SoftGrid, the program does not respond and you receive the following error message:
The SoftGrid Client could not launch {application_name}.
The device is not ready.
Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx2C-80070015
When this problem occurs, the following entry is logged in the SoftGrid Client log file (Sftlog.txt):
No information is available at this time.
Additionally, the following entry is logged in the SoftGrid Virtual Application Server log file (Sft-server.log):
No information is logged to sft-server.log for this error code.
MORE INFORMATION
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true.
- The path that is specified in the FILENAME attribute of the CODEBASE element of the .OSD file is for a removable device such as a CDROM. Additionally, no media is inserted in the device.
- The path that is specified in the HREF element of the .OSD file is for a removable device such as a CDROM. Additionally, no media is inserted in the device.
