Error message when you try to start the SoftGrid Client "Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx0B-800CB02B"
SYMPTOMS
When you try to start Microsoft SoftGrid, the program does not respond and you receive the following error message:
The SoftGrid Client could not launch {application_name}.
The SoftGrid Client could not load {application_name}.
A network operation did not complete in time and the SoftGrid Client was unable to enter into disconnected operation mode. Please check your network connection and try again. If the problem persists, please report the following error code to your System Administrator.
Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx0B-800CB02B
When this problem occurs, the following entry is logged in the SoftGrid Client log file (Sftlog.txt):
No information is available at this time.
Additionally, the following entry is logged in the SoftGrid Virtual Application Server log file (Sft-server.log):
No information is logged to sft-server.log for this error code.
MORE INFORMATION
This problem can occur if the following conditions are true:
- The database server for SoftGrid Virtual Application Server is unavailable. Examples of the database server are Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Desktop Engine (Also Known As MSDE 2000).
- The application is not completely loaded in cache.
