Error message when you try to install Streets and Trips: "Error 1713"

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install Microsoft Streets and Trips 2006 or Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008, you receive the following error message:
Error 1713: Cannot install one of the required products

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the Text-to-Speech component has been installed incorrectly.

RESOLUTION

Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. If you are using Microsoft Windows XP or an earlier version, click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.

    If you are using Windows Vista, click Start

    , type regedit in the Start Search box, and then click Regedit in the Programs list.
  2. Locate and then click the following subkey:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products
  3. On the Edit menu, click Find.
  4. In the Find what box, type Microsoft English TTS Engine.
  5. Click to clear the Keys check box and the Values check box, and then click Find Next.

    One of the sub-keys should have a ProductName of Microsoft English TTS Engine.
  6. Delete the subkey, and then exit Registry Editor.
  7. Install Streets and Trips 2006.

Same for me. I am an XP user and step 4 doesnt bring back any results
