A line may rotate around one of the ends of the line when you try to resize the width of the line AutoShape in Excel 2003, in PowerPoint 2003, and in Word 2003
SYMPTOMS
When you try to resize the width, or weight, of a line AutoShape in a document in Microsoft Office Excel 2003, in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003, or in Microsoft Office Word 2003, the line weight is not changed. Instead, the line may rotate around one of the ends of the line.
WORKAROUND
To change the weight of a line AutoShape in Excel 2003, in PowerPoint 2003, or in Word 2003, use one of the following methods:
- Click the line AutoShape. Then, open the Format AutoShape dialog box. On the Color and Lines tab, enter the line weight that you want to use in the Weight box.
To open the Format AutoShape dialog box, double-click the line AutoShape. Or, right-click the line AutoShape, and then click Format AutoShape. - Click the line AutoShape. On the Drawing toolbar, click Line Style, and then click the line weight that you want to use.
