Error message when you try to validate Microsoft Office by using Office Genuine Advantage: "Trial version detected"

SYMPTOMS

When you try to use Office Genuine Advantage to validate a Microsoft Office product that is listed in the "Applies to" section, validation fails. Additionally, you receive one or both of the following error messages:
Error message 1
Trial version detected
Error message 2
Error code: 0x8018102

CAUSE

This issue occurs when the product that you are trying to validate is not a full version. The following trial versions are licensed temporarily for evaluation.
