You cannot find the correct credit card partner account in the "Confirmation Code" dialog box when you try to manage credit card processing in Accounting Professional 2007, in Accounting Express 2007, or in Small Business Accounting

SYMPTOMS

When you try to manage credit card processing in Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2007, in Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007, or in Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting, you cannot find the correct credit card partner account in the Confirmation Code dialog box.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
  • A credit application is started in Accounting Professional 2007, in Accounting Express 2007, or in Small Business Accounting. But the credit application has not been canceled.
  • Another credit application is created in Accounting Professional 2007, in Accounting Express 2007, or in Small Business Accounting by using a different credit card partner account.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Cancel the credit application that uses the credit card partner account.

To do this, telephone Vital at 1-877-419-2683 if you are using a new credit card processing account. Or, telephone VeriSign at 1-866-833-7050 if you are using an existing credit card processing account.
  2. Enroll in the credit card processing service. To do this, follow these steps:
    1. On the Customers menu, point to Credit Card Processing, and then click Sign up for Credit Card Processing.
    2. Click Add Account.
    3. In the Connect to cc.service.microsoft.com dialog box, type your e-mail address in the E-mail address box, type your password in the Password box, and then click OK.
    4. Open the application form for the correct credit card partner account, and then close the form.
    5. On the Customers menu, point to Credit Card Processing, and then click Manage Credit Card Processing.
    6. In the Connect to cc.service.microsoft.com dialog box, type your e-mail address in the E-mail address box, type your password in the Password box, and then click OK.
    7. On the Account Settings tab, click Edit.
    8. In the Confirmation Code field, type the confirmation code.

Note An e-mail that you receive from the following address contains the confirmation code:
      creditcardprocessing@service.microsoft.com
    9. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to finish enrolling.
