Description of Photo Editor support with Office 2003 programs
INTRODUCTION
Microsoft Photo Editor is not installed with the programs that are listed in the "Applies to" section. Additionally, when you upgrade from an earlier version of Microsoft Office to any one of the programs that are listed in the "Applies to" section, Photo Editor is removed from your computer if Photo Editor had been installed.

Photo Editor is removed when you install Office 2003
This article describes the supportability of Photo Editor with the Office 2003 programs that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Microsoft will continue to support Photo Editor functionality in Microsoft Office XP and in earlier versions of Office based on the existing Microsoft Office Support Lifecycle. For more information about the Microsoft Office Support Lifecycle policy, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
Microsoft support for Photo Editor functionality in an Office 2003 environment will extend only to those errors that Microsoft can reproduce in an Office 2003 environment. Support for Photo Editor functionality in an Office 2003 environment will only include Photo Editor usage. Support for Photo Editor functionality in an Office 2003 environment will not include individual installation issues that are caused by operating systems.
