You may receive a "Documents in this folder are not available" error message when you try to open a Web folder that is hosted on an Internet Information Services Web site
When you try to use Microsoft Internet Explorer to open a Web folder that is hosted on a Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Web site, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
Documents in this folder are not available. The folder may have been moved or deleted, or network problems may be preventing a connection to the server. There is a problem with the webserver. Please try again later or contact the server administrator.
After you click OK, you do not see any files or folders in the virtual directory that you tried to open.
Additionally, you do not see the virtual directory in a directory list when you connect to the Web site by using the
NET USE command. If you try to use the
CD (change directory) command to change to the virtual directory, you receive an error message that is similar to the following:
This issue occurs when you try to use the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) to open a virtual directory as a Web folder.
To work around this issue, use a physical directory instead of a virtual directory.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
