The Office 2003 spelling checker incorrectly identifies the word "Iqaluit" as misspelled

SYMPTOMS

When you type Iqaluit in a Microsoft Office 2003 program, the Office 2003 spelling checker incorrectly identifies this word as misspelled. If you right-click Iqaluit, the word "Iqualuit" appears as a suggested spelling.

Note Iqaluit is the capital city of Nunavut Territory, Canada.

RESOLUTION

This problem was first fixed in a hotfix that is now contained in a service pack. If you installed the latest Office 2003 service pack, you do not have to install the hotfix.

This problem is corrected in Office 2003 Service Pack 2.
