How to upgrade your version of Reader for the Pocket PC
This article describes how to upgrade your version of
Microsoft Reader for the Pocket PC.
To upgrade your version Reader for the Pocket PC, follow
these steps:
- Start your Pocket PC.
- Tap Start, and then tap
Settings.
- On the System tab, tap Remove
Programs.
- Tap Microsoft Reader, and then tap
Remove to remove Reader.
- Download the latest version of Reader for the Pocket PC. To
do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
- Under Full Installation, select the
version of Microsoft Reader for the Pocket PC that you want to install, click
Open, and then follow the instructions that appear on the
screen to install Reader for the Pocket PC. If you have to activate your copy
of Reader for the Pocket PC, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
Note If you have to, soft reset your Microsoft Windows powered Pocket
PC to complete the installation. For information about how to soft reset your
Pocket PC, see the documentation that is provided by your Pocket PC
manufacturer.
