"Error uploading stats" error message when you win an online game of Microsoft Age of Mythology and then try to upload the game statistics to the online server

SYMPTOMS
When you win an online game of Microsoft Age of Mythology,
and then you try to upload the game statistics to the online server, you may
receive the following error message:
Error uploading
stats 2, 4
No information is uploaded to the server, and the win is
not added to your record on the server.

CAUSE
This problem occurs after you install the cumulative
security update for Microsoft Internet Explorer Q832894. There is an
incompatibility with the game and this update to Internet system
files.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, install the latest updates for Age
of Mythology or for Age of Mythology: The Titans. To do this, use one of the
following methods.

Method 1
For Age of Mythology, follow these steps:
| 1. | Click Start, point to
Programs, point to Microsoft Games, point to
Age of Mythology, and then click Update Age of
Mythology. |
| 2. | Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to update
or to confirm that you have the latest update installed. |
For Age of Mythology: The Titans, follow these steps:
| 1. | Click Start, point to
Programs, point to Microsoft Games, point to
Age of Mythology - The Titans Expansion, and then click
Update Age of Mythology - The Titans Expansion. |
| 2. | Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to update
or to confirm that you have the latest update installed. |
