You cannot add or play a custom soundtrack in a PowerPoint slide show
SYMPTOMS
You cannot add or play custom soundtracks in a slide show in Microsoft
Office PowerPoint 2003 or in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the following add-ins are no longer supported:
- PowerPoint Custom
Soundtrack Add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint 97 for Windows
- Microsoft
PowerPoint 2000 updated Custom Soundtrack Add-in
There is no replacement feature.
STATUS
This
behavior is by design.
