Microsoft scanned this file for viruses. Microsoft used the most current virus-detection software that was available on the date that the file was posted. The file is stored on security-enhanced servers that help to prevent any unauthorized changes to the file. If you want to save the files in another location, modify the section of the script that sets the PATHVAR constant to your C drive (C:\) to the location where you want the files saved.

To use the tool, unzip the contents of the package that you downloaded to your local C drive.

If you want to export your settings from computer A and import the settings to computer B, you must copy the following files to computer B:
  • Export_Settings
    These files are your custom applications in Application Center and any custom exclusions lists.
  • Export.mof
    These are your custom Synchronized Monitors in Health Monitor.
  • Aclog.bak
    This file includes the Microsoft Data engine (MSDE) database and all its contents.
