You cannot run the Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP screen savers, games, or visualizations on Virtual PC for Mac
SYMPTOMS
You cannot run the Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP screen savers, games, or visualizations on Virtual PC for Mac.
CAUSE
Virtual PC does not meet the Plus! for Windows XP minimum requirements for video memory or for graphics acceleration.
MORE INFORMATION
To run the Plus! for Windows XP screen savers, games, and visualizations, you must have a video adapter that has three-dimensional (3-D) graphics acceleration and a minimum of 16 megabytes (MB) of video memory. Virtual PC for Mac version 5 does not support 3-D acceleration and has only 4 MB of video memory. With Virtual PC for Mac versions 6 and 7, you can increase to 16 MB of video RAM, but 3-D graphics acceleration cannot be emulated.
