MSBBN: MN-120 or MN-520 PC Card Network Adapter Is Not Detected, Card Lights Do Not Turn On

SYMPTOMS
When you try to install the MN-120 or MN-520 PC card network adapter, you may experience one or more of the following behaviors:
- The broadband networking Setup program does
not detect the insertion of the card.
- The card is not listed in device manager.
- The lights on the card do not turn on.
- There is a PC card or cardbus device in device manager that has one of the following error codes displayed in the device status box on the device properties page:
Code 10 (This device is either not
present, not working correctly, or does not have all the drivers installed.)
-or- Code
28 (The drivers for this device are not installed).
CAUSE
This issue may occur if there is a problem with your computer's PC card cardbus controller.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, reinstall the drivers for your PC card cardbus controller. For information about how to obtain and install PC card cardbus controller drivers, contact the manufacturer of your PC card controller assembly.
Portable Computers
PC card controllers are typically included as integrated hardware on laptop computers.
