Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
This fix has three separate installation files:
- If you are using the .NET Framework 1.0 SP2, install Ndp10_qfem_q814470_en.exe.
- If you are using the .NET Framework version 1.1 on a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or a Microsoft Windows 2000 system, install Ndp1.1-kb823679-x86.exe.
- If you are using the .NET Framework version 1.1 on a Windows Server 2003 system, install Windowsserver2003-kb821415-x86-enu.exe.
The leak typically occurs when the
DataTable.Select statement contains an IN clause. To work around this leak, you can use an OR clause instead of an IN clause:
Use ==>
DataRow[] rowArr = dt.Select("COL1 = 'VALUE1' AND (COL2 = 'VALUE2' OR COL2 = 'VALUE3')");
Instead of ==>
DataRow[] rowArr = dt.Select("COL1= 'VALUE1' AND COL2 IN ('VALUE2', 'VALUE3')");
