This article was previously published under Q307695
SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to create a custom playlist in Microsoft Plus! Personal DJ for Windows XP, the playlists that are displayed under
Playlists in the
Choose a music category box may not match the playlists that are displayed under
My Playlists in Microsoft Windows Media Player.
For example, if you create a new playlist in Windows Media Player, the new playlist is not displayed under
Playlists in Plus! Personal DJ.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you create a new playlist, or if you rename or remove an existing playlist in Windows Media Player when Plus! Personal DJ is already running. Under these circumstances, changes that you make to your playlists in Windows Media Player are not updated in the

Playlists list is refreshed, and then your playlists are displayed as expected.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
