SYMPTOMS
Application Center 2000 may not install or run on versions of Microsoft Windows 2000 other than the English version or the Japanese version (such as the German version of Windows 2000).
CAUSE
Application Center 2000 has been tested only on the English version and the Japanese version of Windows 2000. There are known issues with installing and running Application Center on other localized versions of Windows 2000.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
