You receive a "Clip Organizer Cannot Complete the Operation" error message when you try to start Clip Organizer

SYMPTOMS

When you start Microsoft Clip Organizer, you may receive one of the following error messages:
error in the .dll
error code 0x800401f9
-or-
Clip Organizer cannot complete the operation. The RPC server is unavailable. Error code 0x800706BA.
-or-
Clip art organizer cannot complete the requested task. Class not registered. Error code 0x80040154.
When you click OK, you receive the following error message:
Clip Organizer cannot complete the operation. Error Code 0x80040E21.
-or-
Microsoft Clipart Organizer
Clip Organizer cannot complete the operation.
No such interface supported.
Error code 0x80004002

CAUSE

An older version of the Microsoft Data Access Components is installed your computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC), version 2.5 or later. To do this, browse to the following Microsoft Web site:

W2K, SP4, Problem occurs on two different machines, one running office xp, the other running office 2003. I installed MDAC 2.8, German Version -- No success.

Win XP Pro SP2, Publisher 2003 SP2 - removed all office components, firewall disabled, reloaded Publisher 2003. UK version. Unable to load MDAC2.8 and Jet 4 as these appear to be part of WinXP SP2. No fix yet to this problem... still looking

dude, where is the default folder for windows xp updates? i restarted my notebook during installation, so now i have to go back into the downloaded updates to setup manually.
