CAUSE

This problem may occur if you install Microsoft Office XP or Microsoft Office 2003 with Spanish proofing tools, and then install Microsoft Project 2000 with Spanish proofing tools.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, reinstall Office XP or Office 2003. To do so, follow these steps: Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
  1. Close any open programs.
  2. Click Start, and then clickControl Panel.
  3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. In the list of programs, click Microsoft Office XP Standard or Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003, and then click Change/Remove.

Note The program that is listed in the Control Panel will depend on the version of Office or standalone product that you have installed. For example, if you are using the standalone version of PowerPoint,Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 or Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 will appear in the list of programs.
  5. In the Microsoft Office XP Setup dialog box, click Repair Office. Or in the Microsoft Office 2003 dialog box, click Reinstall or Repair Office. Then, click Next.
  6. Click Reinstall Office, and then click Install.
  7. In the Office Setup dialog box, click OK.
  8. If you are prompted to restart your computer to finish the installation, click Yes.
