Possible Causes and Solutions

AC.exe Missing: The executable file AC.exe, used to take members offline, is missing.

Server not available: The member is not available to the controller, possibly because it has been renamed.

Also investigate:
  • Windows Event Log for failure
  • Network failure
  • Hardware failure, such as network adapter failure
Other solutions (listed in order of preference):
  1. Restart the computer.
  2. Contact Microsoft Product Support Services:
