PRJ2000: Invalid Page Fault When You Create More Than 44 Windows

SYMPTOMS
When you open more than 44 windows in Microsoft Project 2000 on one of the operating systems listed at the beginning of this article, Microsoft Project stops responding, and you receive the following error message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
WINPROJ caused an invalid page fault in module ATLCONV.DLL at 0167:2d832ef6.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Project 2000, Service Release 1 (SR-1).
